Camera Mounting

This procedure covers the Camera Mount / Feed-Through / Shade (AMP-1011), used with the GMSL2 Monocular Camera (AMP-1003).

The camera mounting assembly is based on the icotek KEL-FG-ER-B4 cable feedthrough. In addition to the standard icotek component, Lemvos manufactures two custom parts:

• Camera alignment / heat-sinking plate (1)
• Camera shade (2)

Installation

When installing the assembly onto a mounting surface, first drill a clearance hole large enough for the camera cable and connector to pass through. Then drill the four mounting holes required to secure the complete assembly.

The KEL-FG-ER-B4 housing is rated to IP65. However, when used with the specified grommet insert, the overall cable-entry assembly is limited to IP54.
